Shiba Inu Lead Developer Urges Caution on Shibarium Projects

Keep Up With the Latest Developments of Shiba Inu's Metaverse

The lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, has suggested that he will stop following potential Shibarium projects on Twitter.

In a recent Twitter thread, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, clarified that he does not endorse potential Shibarium projects being promoted by influencers on the social media platform. However, he urged community members to conduct their own research before investing in any project, even if he appears to endorse it. He also emphasized that the Shiba Inu team “always” conducts its own research before supporting any project.

Last month, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, denied involvement with Pawswap (PAW), a proposed decentralized exchange built for Shibarium. This came after some influencers attempted to link Kusama with two purchases of PAW, leading to speculation that he was backing the project. However, Kusama made it clear that these claims were false, and he implored community members to be cautious of potential scammers who might pretend to be community supporters.

Shibarium Intake Form Receives Huge Numbers of Submissions

Kusama provided updates on the Shibarium intake form submissions in the latter part of the Twitter thread. The developer had recently launched a website to receive project applications from those interested in building on the proposed Ethereum Layer 2 protocol, as reported by fxcryptonews last week. Kusama clarified that it was not mandatory to fill out the form to build on Shibarium, but those who did would receive constant updates on the project’s progress. The implication is that Kusama wants to keep the community informed about the development of Shibarium and encourages interested parties to engage with the project and stay up-to-date on its progress.

Yesterday, the leader of Shiba Inu mentioned that they had received thousands of submissions for the form and are expecting to “host many amazing” projects in Shibarium. According to the tweet, the participants will receive emails soon regarding their submissions.

The Shiba Inu community is eagerly awaiting the launch of Shibarium, and Kusama has been suggesting that the beta version launch is imminent. However, he has warned users not to buy anything during the beta phase since the tokens and projects will only be for testing.
