Exodus Wallet, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, has reacted to requests to announce support for Shibarium, the next Shiba Inu Ethereum L2 network.
The team did not expressly declare its readiness to support the network but stated that the request had been routed to the proper department.
The Exodus team noted that they had documented the request.
“…Shibarium has been logged with our assets team,” Exodus announced yesterday via its official Twitter account in response to requests from two Shiba Inu community members pleading with the wallet to promote the network.
Thanks for your request! #Shibarium has been logged with our assets team 🦾. We cannot make any promises, but you never know what delightful surprises could be in store for you. 🔮 -BT

The team stated that the Shiba Inu community might be in for a “delightful surprise” in the future, although they cannot guarantee it.
Recall that Shibarium is being hailed as the Shiba Inu version of Polygon in an opinion piece in Exodus.
Proposed Alternative for Shibarium Support
Also, the Exodus account offered an alternate method for Shiba Inu supporters to manually add support for Shibarium to their Exodus wallets.
The team claims that users can add Shibarium as a unique ERC-20 token by adhering to the specific instructions provided in its dedicated guide.
Crossing our fingers for future full support, they added.
Hey 🚌! I also wanted to let y'all know that you can add Shibarium as a custom ERC20 token in Exodus. Here's how ➡️ https://t.co/BAtknCb64y. Fingers crossed for full support down the road. 🤞 – BT

A community-driven Shiba Inu handle reacted to the suggested substitute by insisting that they want to ensure that Shibarium will be officially supported.
Exodus responded suitably, “The team has been notified of your request to support Shibarium on the network (no promises, though).”
It is important to note that Exodus’ support for the Shiba Inu coin in 2021 was inspired by numerous similar requests made at the time by SHIB proponents.
The staff reported at that time that they had informed the appropriate area of the requests for Shiba Inu support.
That's so awesome! I'm glad to hear you like Exodus a lot. 🥰 Shiba is such a popular request. I've sent your request to our development team so we can keep track. Watch out for new updates. They roll out every two weeks and you never know what surprise will appear next 🎁 -MW

If Exodus were to proclaim support for Shibarium, it would add its name to many platforms that have already said they are prepared to support the L2 network when it starts.
They include well-known organizations like CoinRabbit, Atomic Wallet, NOWNodes, and Voxel X Network.
