Kusama has described the new website as an intake system that will strengthen the broader acceptance of Shiba Inu, with a particular focus on the upcoming L2 network. The aim is to encourage more people to use Shiba Inu by making it more user-friendly and accessible.
Shytoshi Kusama, who is the main developer of Shiba Inu, has declared the release of a new portal designed for the forthcoming Shibarium Layer-2 network.
As per the announcement, the newly announced portal, called “Join Shibarium,” will act as a central platform for various groups such as content creators, developers, job seekers, and business owners.
“[…] An intake system was created so we can support those interested in doing anything for Shib!” Kusama said.
He stated that the recently established system for accepting new members is the ideal approach for developing the Shiba Inu community.
“Ideally, this intake system will allow us to find the best projects and link them with others who can help or assist.”
Additionally, Kusama mentioned that the Join Shibarium portal will facilitate the expansion of the L2 network with the help of established businesses, as well as aid the Shiba Inu team in identifying appropriate validators.
However, Kusama made it clear that developers are not required to complete the intake form in order to commence building on Shibarium once the L2 network becomes operational. Nevertheless, the portal is crucial for keeping them updated on events related to Shibarium.
After the deployment of the intake system, Kusama remarked that the team responsible for the L2 network could begin to distribute Shibarium-related materials and initiate the upcoming release of Shibarium Beta.
It is worth noting that Kusama also established a separate Twitter account for the Shibarium portal, which has already attracted 3,226 followers.
