During the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival on March 10, the Metaverse space known as Shiba Inu’s SHIB unveiled its WAGMI Temple hub. The premiere provided a sneak peek of the much-anticipated Metaverse hub, using an immersive Extended Reality (XR) experience to allow attendees to explore it.
The WAGMI Temple hub of the metaverse project was first shown at the SXSW festival on March 11.
On March 10, Shytoshi Kusama unveiled the poster for the SXSW premiere, which announced that the metaverse experience would take place from March 12 to 14 at Booth 701 in the Congressional Ballroom in Austin, Texas. Along with the release of Shibarium beta, Kusama urged supporters in Texas to attend the SXSW experience and visit the booth.
Several video clips of the Metaverse experience have surfaced following the premiere, showcasing an immersive and captivating encounter. Brandie Konopasek, an entertainment producer and supporter of SHIB, recently shared a brief 7-second video clip that offers a glimpse of the WAGMI Temple. According to her, the clip only reveals a small section of the entire WAGMI area.
Konopasek also confirmed that additional glimpses of the Shib Metaverse would be made available in the coming days..
The video footage revealed a beautiful landscape with tall mountains, a cluster of trees, and a long wooden bridge. These characteristics suggest that the WAGMI Temple hub may offer exciting climbing obstacles.
Furthermore, Scorchia, an influencer for Shiba Inu, released another clip showcasing a peaceful scene of the WAGMI Temple, surrounded by natural features like tall mountains, dense vegetation, a cascading waterfall, and clear water bodies. Scorchia confirmed that the Metaverse is open and available to everyone, and it is not mandatory to have a VR headset to access it.
Scorchia also disclosed that the WAGMI hub’s debut at SXSW consisted of two unique experiences. The first one was a free-roaming adventure in the health and wellness hub. In contrast, the second one was a peaceful meditation experience that enabled participants to explore WAGMI and understand the hub’s overall atmosphere.
(SHIB: The Metaverse) What it Represents
The Shiba Inu ecosystem has created a metaverse space called SHIB: The Metaverse where more than 100,000 plots of land can be created. Landowners in this metaverse can earn income from their holdings and receive rewards and tokens. One of the hubs in the metaverse is called the WAGMI Temple hub, and it is one of 11 hubs available.
Earlier this year, it was reported that SHIB: The Metaverse had received an invitation to exhibit at this year’s SXSW festival. The project opted to showcase the WAGMI Temple Hub during the festival’s XR experience.
