Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), hinted that significant developments are coming soon for the cryptocurrency. While attending the TOKEN2049 blockchain conference in Singapore, Kusama engaged with the community and gave interviews.
This marks a continuation of his public appearances, which began earlier this year. In a brief conversation with crypto blogger Raajeev Anand, Kusama mentioned that the next two weeks would be “more interesting” for SHIB. Although he didn’t elaborate on the statement, Raajeev later hinted that SHIB’s team is preparing for “something big.”
Kusama’s Message to the SHIB Community After TOKEN2049
Following his appearance at the conference, Kusama took to social media to thank the visitors who stopped by the Shiba Inu booth.

He expressed his appreciation to the SHIB community but noted that he couldn’t stay at the event longer, despite wanting to. Kusama added that his attention is now focused on “private things,” which sparked further curiosity and excitement among SHIB holders.Â
Kusama’s tour has gained momentum, with previous stops at the Web3 event in Kyoto, Japan, and a “meet-and-greet” session in Mumbai, India. In Mumbai, he was joined by SHIB developer Kaal Dhairya, and together they gave an interview to UAE media, with highlights shared by SHIB fans on social media.
SHIB Ecosystem Set for a Mysterious Evolution
In a related development, Lucie, the SHIB social media marketing lead, announced that the SHIB ecosystem is nearing a significant transformation. She suggested that the TREAT token will play a crucial role in this evolution.
