BitPay, a leading cryptocurrency payment provider, announced yesterday that Taylor Swift enthusiasts could leverage a variety of cryptocurrencies, including SHIB, to secure their “Eras Tour” movie tickets via the AMC Theaters app.

In a recent social media announcement, the renowned American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift excitedly unveiled the launch of her long-anticipated concert documentary, aptly titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.” Riding on the wave of unprecedented demand, Swift revealed that early access began yesterday in the U.S. and Canada.
Furthermore, Swift announced that the screenings of the concert film would commence today, October 13, and extend throughout the weekend. Impressively, audiences in 90 countries worldwide can tune in to the documentary starting today.
For fans eager to partake in this musical journey, tickets are available starting at 10 a.m. today, with AMC Theaters prominently positioned as one of the leading platforms to showcase the documentary.
Spanning nearly three hours, the documentary provides an extensive retrospective of Swift’s illustrious 17-year career and her ten studio albums.
Filmed at LA’s SoFi Stadium in August, the documentary solely showcases concert moments, omitting interviews or backstage scenes.

In a strategic move last year, BitPay collaborated with AMC Theaters, ushering in an era where movie enthusiasts could buy tickets using digital currencies.
Chiming in on this development, AMC CEO Adam Aron highlighted Shiba Inu among the crypto tokens fans can use to snag their tickets. “Exactly as promised, the AMC mobile app for AMC’s U.S. theaters now accepts online payments using Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and other cryptocurrencies — thanks to Bitpay,” Aron remarked.
Apart from Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, Taylor Swift aficionados can also opt for a number of BitPay-supported crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, and BCH to purchase their tickets on AMC.
