Shiba Inu and the prominent cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue have recently concluded an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session dedicated to Shibarium.
It’s worth mentioning that Bitrue had been gearing up for this AMA session since September 22, when it initially disclosed this event. In a subsequent tweet, Shiba Inu gently reminded its followers that the AMA was scheduled to take place today at precisely 02:00 (UTC).
Ragnar Underscores Shibarium’s Capabilities
The Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, held earlier today, lasted nearly an hour, attracting participation from 442 Shiba Inu community members.
During the AMA, Shiba Inu’s community administrator, Ragnar Shib,” shed light on the potential of Shibarium and how this Layer-2 blockchain improves transaction processing.
Ragnar underscored that Shibarium would provide a seamless avenue for other prominent cryptocurrency projects to become part of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. According to Ragnar, Shibarium will play a significant role in the ongoing efforts to reduce the substantial circulating supply of the SHIB token through burning mechanisms.

Bitrue Commemorates the Launch of Shibarium
It’s worth noting that Bitrue has been a staunch supporter of Shibarium. In the previous month, Bitrue unveiled two promotions aimed at distributing 10.10 billion SHIB tokens as part of the festivities surrounding the launch of Shibarium’s mainnet.
Bitrue required participants in the giveaway to complete a series of tasks, which involved actions such as depositing and trading SHIB on their platform during a specified period. Importantly, this giveaway event took place from August 17 to August 31, 2023.
Shibarium represents an Ethereum-based Layer 2 blockchain. The launch of this network marked a significant milestone in Shiba Inu’s journey, helping it move beyond its initial meme coin status.
Initially proposed by Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous founder, Ryoshi, in May 2021, Shibarium finally made its mainnet debut on August 16, 2023.
With the launch of Shibarium, Shiba Inu now boasts a comprehensive ecosystem, including a decentralized exchange known as ShibaSwap, a blockchain game titled Shiba Eternity, and a metaverse called Shib: The Metaverse.
