Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz, has warned the XRP community about a rising scam involving fake Instagram accounts. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify that he does not operate any Instagram account, contradicting claims made by some users.

Responding directly to a post from an X user who believed Schwartz had a verified Instagram profile, the Ripple executive stated clearly: “I do not post to Instagram. Any profile you see there that claims to be me is a scam.”

Ripple Continues Its Anti-Scam Efforts

This statement reinforces Ripple’s ongoing efforts to protect its users from fraudulent schemes. The company has consistently flagged impersonation scams, particularly those that misuse the identities of Ripple executives.
