Shiba Inu, a cryptocurrency project with a dog theme, has confirmed the date for its presentation at the SXSW 2023 event in Austin, Texas. The project announced via Twitter today that the festival is scheduled from March 10 to 14.
In January, Shiba Inu and SHIB: The Metaverse were invited by SXSW 2023 organizers to participate in the upcoming festival, which is taking place later this month. This will allow the Shiba Inu team to showcase WAGMI Temple, one of the 11 hubs of the SHIB metaverse, to attendees.
While commenting on the development, Shiba Inu stated:
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be featured as one of the XR Experience Spotlights, where we will be presenting the world premiere of the magnificent WAGMI Temple Hub!”

WAGMI Temple Preview in Details
The Shiba Inu team has shared information regarding the WAGMI Temple preview film screenings, which will take place during SXSW 2023. The preview will be displayed at the XR Experience Program in the Congressional Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel from March 12 to 14, with the screenings from 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
The individuals responsible for the WAGMI Temple preview have been identified in the credits, with Marcie Jastrow and Sherri Cuono serving as directors and David Kern and Brandie Konopasek as producers.
One month ago, the festival organizers announced the selection of two executives from The Third Floor (TTF) studio, Shiba Inu’s metaverse partner, to head the panel at SXSW 2023. The announcement revealed that the festival organizers had appointed TTF’s CEO, Chris Edwards, and Head of Virtual Production, Connor Murphy, as panelists.
Shiba Inu Receives Booth Number
Shiba Inu announced it would be at booth 701 during the SXSW 2023 festival to enrich attendees’ experience.
During the SXSW 2023 festival, the Shiba Inu team will be responsible for educating individuals interested in purchasing virtual lands from SHIB: The Metaverse and informing them about the Shiba Inu project.
The first hub of SHIB: The Metaverse, known as WAGMI (We’re All Gonna Make It) Temple, was unveiled last year. The metaverse team described it as “a zen-like realm with a calming sensation, meditation, and spiritual connection to the world.”
Since introducing the WAGMI Temple hub, Shiba Inu has unveiled multiple concept artworks. In December 2022, the team went a step further and shared the official images of the hub, which were created using Unreal Engine 5.1.
