XRP Advocate’s Prediction: Could XRP Reach $17?

Ripple

According to an anonymous influencer in the XRP community, NerdNationUnbox, a settlement between Ripple and the SEC that involves burning half of Ripple’s escrowed tokens could potentially lead to a significant increase in XRP’s value, with the price potentially reaching $7 or $17. However, the influencer acknowledged that this is a hypothetical scenario and is unlikely to occur.

The XRP influencer NerdNationUnbox suggested that if the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires Ripple to burn 50% of the tokens currently held in escrow as part of the ongoing legal settlement, XRP’s price could potentially surge to $7.4 if it reaches the market cap of Ethereum, and to $17.42 if it achieves the market cap of Bitcoin.

The MarketCapOf crypto analytics tool was used to determine the potential values of XRP if it were to reach the market cap of Ethereum or Bitcoin under certain conditions. The tool offers investors an estimate of an asset’s value if it attains the market cap of another token based on particular parameters. However, NerdNationUnbox cautioned that these estimates are purely hypothetical and should be viewed as such.

Ripple Settlement With SEC

The probability of a settlement in the ongoing legal dispute between the SEC and Ripple, particularly one that involves burning escrowed tokens, is very low, according to attorney John Deaton. Deaton has repeatedly emphasized that a settlement before a court ruling is unlikely and has included this prediction for the current year.

However, The attorney, John Deaton, has suggested that Ripple could potentially settle the case by paying up to $250 million if the SEC publicly acknowledges that the sale of XRP, both present and future, is not considered a security. However, he believes that the SEC is not likely to make such a declaration as they aim to regulate and control the crypto industry.
