What Will be the Final End Date of the SEC vs Ripple Lawsuit?

Attorney Morgan Weighs in on Coinbase XRP Listing Prospects

There is general awareness that the lawsuit between Ripple and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to conclude in the near future. Nevertheless, there is currently no specific date for the anticipated resolution of the legal dispute.

Crypto enthusiasts who are tracking the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC are relying on predictions from prominent cryptocurrency and legal professionals. One such prediction was made by pro-crypto attorney James K. Filan, who had anticipated that the final verdict in the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit would be delivered on March 31, 2023.

The XRP community embraced James K. Filan’s prediction because he is known for being one of the earliest sources of updates regarding the Ripple-SEC lawsuit. XRP enthusiasts felt that Filan had reliable information about the case’s conclusion since he appeared to have a good rapport with the court officials. As a result, they placed considerable faith in his estimate of the lawsuit’s end date.

Despite the high level of trust in James K. Filan’s prediction, it did not come to fruition, leaving the XRP community to seek guidance from other professionals’ forecasts.

Final Verdict Will Come Before Dec. 31st, Says Ripple

Ripple, along with other members of the cryptocurrency community, has made a prediction about when the SEC lawsuit is expected to conclude.

According to Ripple’s Q1 2023 market report, the company anticipates that the lawsuit’s final decision will be made by the end of this year.

Ripple believes that the summary judgment could be issued by the court between the present time and the end of the year, December 31st, 2023, according to the company’s prediction.

There is currently no specific date for when Judge Torres is expected to deliver her verdict, and the previously mentioned dates are just speculative.

However, Attorney Deaton has dismissed the notion that the SEC and Ripple would have any knowledge of the ruling before Judge Torres grants summary judgment. Deaton has stated that only the judge’s staff and the court’s clerks who assisted with research materials would have any advance knowledge.
