While the cryptocurrency continues to find its momentum again, unidentified Shiba Inu whales have been spotted transferring massive amounts of the SHIB tokens in the last 24 hours. The total fees paid in ETH for the $52.4 million in crypto transfers were only $2.19.
According to data obtained from the leading crypto tracking platform, Whale Alert loaded SHIB investors transferred a total of 5,671,107,065,473 Shiba Inu tokens in two separate wallet-to-wallet transfers.
Notably, the massive token shifting recorded in the last 24 hours was carried out in only two transactions totaling $52,358,251 at the time of execution.
The first transaction involved the transfer of approximately 2.87 trillion SHIB tokens from a whale wallet to a new storage location. At the time of execution, the user paid only $0.56 in ETH in fees for the transaction, which was worth approximately $26.4 million.
Etherscan reveals that the sending wallet unloaded all 2.87 SHIB, and the tokens dropped in the wallet on the same day. The sending wallet currently has no SHIB in it.
“2,871,107,065,473 SHIB (26,356,762 USD) transferred from unknown wallet to unknown wallet,” Whale Alert reported.

The crypto whales tracking account broadcasted another massive SHIB transfer hours later. This time, 2.8 trillion SHIB was transferred from an unknown wallet to another wallet worth approximately $26 million. This transaction came with a fee of $1.63 in ETH.
SHIB Holders Are Increasing
Despite the low price at which the second-largest meme token is currently trading, top Ethereum (ETH) whales and many other investors continue to hold SHIB. Shiba Inu has 1,257,318 on-chain wallets, according to Etherscan.
According to WhaleStats, the top 1000 ETH whales own more Shiba Inu than any other crypto asset, including LINK, MANA, UNI, MATIC, and FTM.
As of December 8, the top 1000 ETH whales held SHIB tokens worth $34,116,607, according to the whale tracking platform. As of December 9, SHIB held by the top 100 ETH whales was worth $72,014,568, according to Whalestats.
