Virtue Poker Becomes First Blockchain-based, Multi-chain Compatible Poker Platform to Launch on BSC

Virtue Poker, a blockchain-based P2P poker application launched on the Binance Smart Chain, has generated huge buzz in the crypto gaming community. When launched, it will be the first licensed, multi-chain compatible poker platform ever to use blockchain technology.

Evolution of the Virtue Poker platform

The platform began its journey in 2016 as a decentralized peer-to-peer poker platform based on the Ethereum blockchain. It was developed in-house at Consensys and is supported by many other companies including DFG Group, Digital Strategies, Fenbushi Capital, Flurry Capital, JRR, Pantera Capital, etc., as well as Stakeholder Phil Ivey. It started with an ambition to provide a safe, honest, and fun gaming experience.

Gradually, it received a license from the Malta Gaming Authority and under their supervision as a platform to offer demonstrably fair poker on the blockchain without the need to keep players’ funds safe.

It raised $5 million in a successful investment round in April and then completed its IDO on SuperStarter. The platform publicly launched real money for the first time on May 28th.

Going Live on Binance Smart Chain

Upon launch on BSC, Virtue Poker will allow users to deposit funds into BUSD or VPP. The top 100 players who deposit 1000 VPP through the BSC contract will receive 100 BNB tokens as a platform gift. User deposits go into the wallet in the Virtue Poker side chain. However, users do not lose control of their money.

It will list BEP-20 $VPP tokens for PancakeSwap and Uniswap and PancakeSwap’s LP rewards program. Among the first 1,000,000 VPP tokens, LP receives 600,000 tokens for pancake swap and 400,000 tokens for uniswap

The platform’s CEO Ryan Gittleson believes Virtue Poker has the potential to become “the preferred destination for blockchain-based betting. He believes the launch at BSC will enable new cryptocurrency enthusiasts to make poker deposits, place bets and play games more conveniently, thereby accelerating development.

Now through July 15, players can start participating and earn more than $500,000 in guaranteed prizes by downloading and playing games on the app.
