The company will launch its NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. It will be supported by Immutable X, which uses StarkWare’s innovative technology to build the first carbon-neutral Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum.

TikTok is launching a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFT), and its top content creators will partner with top NFT creators. The newly released TikTok NFT collections will feature six of its top viral celebrity videos, including Lil Nas X, Rudy Willingham, Bella Poarch, Curtis Roach, Brittany Broski, FNMeka, e.t,c.

Featured Celebrities to Work With Prominent Creators

The featured celebrities will be working with prominent creators like COIN ARTIST, x0r, RTFKT, Grimes, and others to create limited edition NFTs to celebrate their viral videos.

Proceeds from the NFT sales will, according to TikTok, go directly to the creators and NFT artists involved in the project as a way for fans to support the creators they love. However, the proceeds from the collaboration between Brittany Broski and Grimes will go to charity.

Lil Nas X will be the first creator to release his one-of-one limited edition with artist Rudy Willingham, so fans can go to a particular release page to get the NFT. The One-to-one NFT will be deployed on Ethereum, and limited edition NFT will be supported by Immutable X. By the end of the month, there will be several weekly drops after which NFTs can be minted and traded in order not to earn gas fees on Immutable X Layer-2.
