According to a recent report by CoinMarketCap on global cryptocurrency market trends in the first quarter of 2023, Terra Classic (LUNC) is among the top-rated cryptocurrencies viewed on the platform in Europe and Asia.
The report notes that Terra Classic (LUNC) achieved a remarkable 11.40% market share during the first quarter, making it the fifth most viewed cryptocurrency by investors in Asia.

LUNC’s impressive ranking places it ahead of other prominent cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and Binance Coin (BNB), with only BTC, BABYDOGE, SHIB, and Pi being viewed more frequently than LUNC on the platform.
Furthermore, the report highlights that Terra Classic (LUNC) is ranked fifth among the most frequently viewed cryptocurrencies, capturing a significant 9.88% share of all the views in Europe. LUNC is only surpassed by Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Ethereum, and Solana in terms of popularity among European investors.
Europe and Asia are home to a significant proportion of the world’s most crypto-friendly countries, and Terra Classic’s high ranking in these regions is evidence of its increasing importance. The asset’s community-led revitalization initiative, which seeks to revive its previous success, is a crucial factor contributing to its significant social interactions.
According to CMC’s data, Terra Classic is particularly notable for being the most frequently viewed cryptocurrency in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) sector. The report indicates that LUNC accounts for a remarkable 44.20% of all the views allocated to the DeFi sector in Q1 2023. The burn campaign, which has already destroyed more than 52 billion LUNC, is a significant factor driving the increased interest in the asset, as highlighted in the report.
Terra Classic’s increasing popularity is reflected in its trading volume on Binance, which witnessed a sharp surge in January 2023. According to exchange data, trading volume rose by 42% from 2.86 trillion LUNC in December 2022 to 4.07 trillion in January. Although the volume has slightly declined, it has remained above 3 trillion.
