The Shiba Inu team has announced on Twitter that the much-anticipated Shibarium Beta, the cryptocurrency’s layer-2 network, is soon to be released.
As the project launch approaches, Shiba Inu publishes a primer on Shibarium Beta.
Shibarium Beta is ready to go live, and @Shibtoken, the official Shiba Inu Twitter account, encouraged the SHIB community to celebrate in a tweet today.
According to @Shibtoken, “Rejoice ShibArmy! Shibarium Beta is about to be launched.”
A few weeks ago, lead Shiba Inu developer Shytoshi Kusama revealed that the development teams were putting the finishing touches on the Shibarium launch.
Shiba Inu Published an Article About Shibarium Beta
Shiba Inu released an article titled “Introduction to Shibarium: Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 (L2) Network” to explain some fundamental ideas about the project before the impending release of Shibarium Beta.
Shibarium is an L2 blockchain constructed on the Ethereum blockchain, according to the article.
Shibarium, an Ethereum layer-2 network, enables faster, more private, and less expensive off-chain transaction processing while utilizing the security of the underlying blockchain.
Additionally, Shibarium will offer the advantages of scalability and a more extensive development framework.
Shibarium also wants to transform the SHIB ecosystem and the broader crypto industry by lowering the cost of gas for adopting Ethereum-based and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
It should be noted that transactions based on Shibarium will take place off-chain and outside Ethereum.
However, Shibarium transactions will be reported back to the Ethereum network.
Most of the processing will be done by Shibarium, reducing end customers’ costs and processing times.
Shiba Inu Introduces BONE Test Tokens as Shibarium Launch Gets Closer
The BONE token will be used to pay for gas transactions and to honor delegators and validators within Shibarium, the Shiba Inu development team reaffirmed.
A noteworthy development is that Shiba Inu intends to launch a private test network portal where users can obtain the BONE test tokens necessary to communicate with Shibarium Beta.
Developers can test their applications using the BONE test tokens instead of actual cryptocurrencies.
The article also asked members of the SHIB community to refrain from requesting a precise launch date for Shibarium Beta.
The phased release is not a matter of when, according to the Shiba Inu development team, whose primary goal is to build Shibarium Beta properly.
It said, “Avoid asking ‘wen’ because the answer will always be soon.
The team said it is almost finished applying the finishing touches to the project in anticipation of its impending debut. However, it did not provide a launch date for the Shibarium Beta.
