Over the weekend, Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic Shiba Inu leader, shared an important reminder with the SHIB community. SHIB’s marketing lead, Lucie, amplified this message on Twitter, updating the community on key developments, including the upcoming Shiba Inu Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).
“More Funds Are Incoming,” SHIB Leader
Lucie urged the Shiba Inu community to “let real holders make decisions,” hinting at the approaching launch of the DAO. She also criticized “fudders” and “engagement farmers,” emphasizing that news should only come from those with their “funds at stake.”
Lucie quoted Kusama, who recently tweeted, “It’s just a start; there are more funds there and incoming!” This statement referred to the ongoing voting initiated by Kusama regarding the use of 37.5 ETH, sent to the SHIB team by Shiba Inu partner Welly’s fast food chain.

The voting options included converting the funds into SHIB for burning or allocating the ETH to community projects without requiring a community vote. Kusama’s remark suggests he anticipates more funds to come, signaling ongoing financial support for SHIB initiatives. The 37.5 ETH, valued at $91,561, is a significant resource for the community.
Upcoming SHIB Ecosystem Upgrades
Lucie also teased several upcoming upgrades to the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which are expected to be announced this week. Key highlights include the upcoming release of ShibDev, a platform offering tools like API management, node access, and on-chain data.
