Bitget, a leading crypto exchange, has integrated Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium, into its Web3 wallet. This move allows over 40 million Bitget Wallet users to interact with the Shibarium network. Although Bitget did not issue an official announcement, the update was confirmed by Shibarium Update through a post on X (formerly Twitter). The post included a screenshot showing Shibarium listed among Bitget Wallet’s supported blockchains.
While Bitget has added Shibarium to its wallet, it has yet to integrate the blockchain into its exchange platform. This distinction means users can access Shibarium’s features directly through the wallet but not via the exchange’s trading system.
Users Can Store, Transfer, and Stake Shibarium Assets
With the Shibarium integration, Bitget Wallet users can store, transfer, swap, and stake tokens within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This development significantly expands Shibarium’s reach, making its tools more accessible to millions of crypto users worldwide.

Launched in May 2018, Bitget Wallet is a non-custodial wallet serving over 40 million users across 168 countries. The platform’s large user base could drive higher network activity for Shibarium. More wallet users engaging with Shibarium could lead to increased transactions and broader adoption.
Shibarium Hits Major Milestones Amid Growing Support
This development follows two major milestones for Shibarium. Over the weekend, the Layer-2 network surpassed 2 million wallets and 600 million total transactions. As of now, Shibarium’s transaction count has reached 641.18 million, with daily transactions averaging 4.66 million. The total number of wallets connected to Shibarium since its launch in August 2023 stands at 2,006,140.

Despite Shibarium’s strong performance, only a few major wallets and exchanges have integrated it. Gate.io and BluBit are among the top exchanges that have added support for Shibarium. On the wallet side, Frontier and GroveX also support the blockchain. MetaMask users can connect to Shibarium using the Chainlist feature.
Shiba Inu community members continue to urge major crypto platforms to adopt Shibarium. Calls for support from Binance, Coinbase, and Ledger remain active on X. The community’s ongoing advocacy aims to drive further integration and strengthen Shibarium’s presence in the broader crypto market.
