Shibarium Launch Approaches: Kusama Warns Against FUD

As the launch of Shibarium draws near, Kusama, the chief developer for Shiba Inu, warns the community to disregard FUD.

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer on the Shiba Inu project, has urged the community to disregard any information that sows seeds of FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) regarding the Shiba Inu project.

In a tweet from yesterday, Kusama stated that there is typically a hidden agenda at play. As a result, he advised SHIB holders to conduct a preliminary study.

He wrote, “Ignore ALL FUD. Look at who originates the fud, any competing products they might be responsible for creating, the timing of Fud, and who gains from said Fud.”

It needs to be clarified to what or to whom the developer is referencing.

The core Shiba Inu team and Pawswap developers, a separate group that wants to create a decentralized exchange (DEX) on Shibarium, the ecosystem’s Layer 2 solution, are at odds with one another.

A well-known Shiba Inu influencer named LUCIE (@LucieSHIB) claimed earlier this week that the Pawswap team was spreading false information regarding BONE, the Shibarium gas charge token, by posting a message from Kusama that seemed to be a severe warning to the Pawswap team.

There is a divide when the Shiba Inu team insists that ShibaSwap will be the official Shibarium DEX.

Also, as was previously reported, Conor Grogan, the director of Coinbase, recently drew connections between Ryoshi, the man behind SHIB, and Sam Bankman-Alameda Fried’s Research.

It is important to note that Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 protocol and potential Shibarium rival, was just released by Coinbase.

The latest recent caution from the Shiba Inu lead is a warning against FUD.

Before this, the developer had advised users against buying anything from the Shibarium beta, pointing out that anything on the protocol’s experimental version is only there for testing.

All of them appear as the Layer 2 protocol is about to deploy. Developers have confirmed the beta launch for this week, as was previously announced.
