Tangem, the pioneering developer behind Shiba Inu-themed self-custodial hardware wallets, is charting new territory in the crypto storage realm. The Swiss-based wallet provider recently unveiled plans for a novel product that departs from the conventional. This unique creation takes the form of a ring, setting it apart from traditional wallet designs.

Shiba Inu-Themed Wallets Shine at Token2049

Tangem’s announcement follows its active participation in the Token2049 conference, held in Singapore on September 13-14, 2023. The company showcased its Shiba Inu-themed hardware wallet at the event, sparking considerable interest and positive feedback from attendees.

Responding to Community Demands: The Ring-Shaped Wallet

The crypto community, especially Shiba Inu enthusiasts, has long urged Tangem to explore the concept of a ring-shaped hardware wallet. Responding to these persistent requests, Tangem has now confirmed its active development of a ring-styled crypto storage solution. This move comes after the successful launch and rapid adoption of the SHIB-themed wallet, priced at $77.7 per unit, with Tangem having shipped the initial batch of 5,000 units to eager customers in July 2023.

Tangem, established in 2017, initially made waves with its innovative smart banknote-style wallet featuring a Samsung Semiconductor chip. Over time, the company expanded its offerings to include card-shaped wallets, compatible with both PCs and mobile devices. Now, with the development of a ring-shaped wallet, Tangem continues to make strides in reshaping the landscape of crypto storage solutions.
