The creator of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shytoshi Kusama, has declared that Shibarium is on the way. Kusama, however, has not offered a potential release date for the same. Despite missing its target launch date of Q3 2022, SHIB’s layer-2 network still has supporters and users eagerly awaiting its grand debut.
It all began when Kusama tweeted on October 29 that an update will be released soon. Kusama remarked that the community will adore what was to come.
Head down working. Update coming soon and I think you will love it. #ShibaEternity #Shibarium #SHIBARMY

One user responded by speculating that the upgrade might include the Shibarium documentation and a gaming guide. The user was near, Kusama retorted, but “one thing at a time.” However, the developer did confirm that layer-2 for Shiba Inus is on the way. It is safe to infer that the future update won’t have anything to do with Shibarium, though.
Close. But we do one thing at a time. Shibarium IS COMING but one thing at a time. Please. Thanks.

Shiba Inu Update: What’s New?
The documentation for Shiba Eternity is presumably the alternative possibility. “#ShibaEternity docs coming right up,” reads Kusama’s Twitter bio.
Additionally, Kusama did mention that the response to his Tweet was “near,” and the wording “game guide” in the Tweet was indeed close to the paperwork. It is safe to expect that the Shiba Eternity documentation will be included in the forthcoming version.
However, the Shibarium debut seems to have more of an impact on the community. Many anticipate that with the debut of layer-2, SHIB’s price will soar. Shibarium aims to significantly reduce costs while also accelerating transaction speeds.
The project also has a plethora of other launches lined up in addition to Shiba Inu’s layer-2. The group is developing a new stablecoin called Shi as well as a new reward token called TREAT.
Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001229 at the time of publication, up 21.0% from the previous week. The project has nevertheless dropped 81.1% from its all-time high of $0.00008616, which was reached in October 2021.
