Shiba Inu: Shytoshi Hints Shibarium Could Be Released Soon

Shiba Inu is set to introduce the much anticipated layer-2 network, Shibarium. This development comes after numerous questions have been asked concerning the upcoming launch of the forthcoming SHIB project. Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of ShibaSwap, took time to address the rising queries on his official Twitter handle.

A user recently asked:

“Shytoshi Kusama, May we get some clues/hints? My brain is addicted to thinking about Shibarium,”

Shytoshi replied to the user with an image hinting that Shibarium might be released “soon.” The image content included something that looks like a Shiba Inu Eternity Card Game. In addition, the character wore a shirt that mentioned “dev”.

While Shytoshi did not give an exact date of the Shibarium launch, his tweets show that the release might be closer than anticipated.

However, Unification, the firm building the layer-2 network, confirmed that Shibarium public testnet would be released in Q3 of 2022. Therefore, the Shibarium documentation could be ready before September 30, 2022.

Will Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Have an In-built Game?

From the lead developer’s response, the Shiba Inu Eternity card game could be included in Shibarium. Additionally, the tweet noted that the card game’s launch would precede the unveiling of Shibarium.

However, there is no clear-cut answer as Shytoshi has not confirmed the game’s integration into Shibarium.

Nevertheless, the Shiba Inu Eternity game seems to be shaping up well and might be released before Shibarium. The game is available for public testing in Vietnam and might soon open testing in the United States.
