How Realistic is The August Shibarium Launch?
There are compelling reasons to believe that Shibarium’s launch is indeed imminent, possibly in August. Firstly, the lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shytoshi Kusama, previously mentioned that the network’s debut was expected sometime between June and August. With the timeline nearing its end, the launch could be just around the corner.
Secondly, in a recent blog post, Kusama hinted that the team was considering unveiling the network during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada, which is scheduled for August 15 and 16.
Moreover, NOWNodes, a key partner in the layer-2 initiative, has further reinforced the notion that the launch is close. Their revelation adds to the growing speculation that we may witness the launch of Shibarium sometime in August.
The launch of Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) Shibarium has encountered several delays due to technical challenges. Initially scheduled for release in 2022, it was later pushed to early 2023 before the current timeline.
However, it is essential to emphasize that an official launch date has not been confirmed at this time. While there are speculations about a potential August launch, it remains unverified.
As of the current moment, Shibarium’s test net, known as Puppynet, has witnessed impressive activity with over 31 million transactions and more than 17 million wallet addresses.
