The Shiba Inu blockchain, Shibarium, is witnessing a surge in activity, with a notable increase in verified contracts reaching an all-time high.
Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 blockchain, continues to deliver outstanding performance, marked by substantial growth in transactions, wallets, and verified contracts.
Wallet Count Surges Beyond 1.25M as Total Transactions Exceeds 3.45M
Recent statistics from Shibarium reveal that this Layer-2 blockchain has processed an impressive 3.45 million transactions since its mainnet launch on August 16, 2023.
At the time of writing, the total transaction count stands at 3,452,883, reflecting the remarkable scale of activity.
Moreover, daily transactions have consistently hovered around 10,000 since October 9, with approximately 10,940 transactions recorded over the last 24 hours.
More than 1.254 million addresses have also engaged with Shibarium since its inception.

Registered Account Growth at a Sluggish Pace
The network currently boasts 27,293 registered accounts, although it’s important to note that the growth of new accounts has been somewhat sluggish due to the prevailing bear market conditions.
Data indicates that only 32 new accounts were registered on Shibarium in the past day. However, out of the total registered accounts, 622 were active within the last 24 hours, signifying an impressive surge of 18.97% over the past week.
Shibarium has generated a substantial 1.16 million blocks, and its average block time is an impressive 5.0 seconds, positioning the network among the fastest Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solutions.
Verified Contracts Reach Record Highs on Shibarium
Notably, the number of verified contracts on Shibarium has reached a new all-time high (ATH) today, with 710 verified contracts on the network, indicating an 18.4% increase in just one week.
Verified contracts are crucial in enhancing the transparency and dissemination of contract information and core objectives. Currently, the total number of contracts on Shibarium has reached 11,284, with an average of 60 new contracts added daily.

Staked BONE Tokens Experience a Decline
In contrast, the number of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) tokens staked on the network has experienced a slight decline, dropping from over 27 million on September 14 to approximately 26 million.
Presently, the Shiba Inu community has staked a total of 26,033,926 BONE tokens across 12 validators, with Unification leading the pack by holding an impressive 5.36 million BONE tokens in its pool.
Unification is closely followed by ShibArmy America, ShibArmy Europe, and ShibArmy Asia, holding 4 million, 3.04 million, and 2.84 million BONE tokens, respectively.
Additionally, ShibArmy Oceania, Ryoshi Labs, and ShibArmy Africa have over 2 million BONE tokens staked in their respective pools.
The remaining validators, including Chainmasters, Burn Baby Burn, Dojo, 42069, and Shib of the Round Table, hold less than 1 million BONE tokens in their pools.
