During a discussion about the progress of an application submitted by a member of the Shiba Inu community who goes by the pseudonym “BlackJackPrivate,” Shytoshi Kusama, who was appointed by the community to lead the Shiba Inu project, brought attention to the significant increase in the number of applications being received. Kusama remarked on this noteworthy development, indicating that it reflected the high level of interest that the cryptocurrency community had shown in the Shiba Inu project.
An individual whose identity was not revealed posted a message on the official Shibarium Telegram channel to illuminate an anomaly they observed while applying. The individual sought clarification on whether they needed to file another application. Shytoshi Kusama, in response to the query, revealed that although the application had undergone processing, it was yet to be approved.

Shytoshi Kusama clarified that the email sent to applicants upon receipt of their application is automatically generated by the Shibarium system and should not be interpreted as an indication of approval. However, Kusama also mentioned that the Shibarium team strives to respond to all applicants, despite the daunting task of handling over 7,000 applications.
In addition, Kusama explained that he had been constantly reviewing the response emails to keep them updated with the latest developments. He cited the recent partnership between Shiba Inu’s Metaverse project and the International Women in Blockchain conference as an example of a new development that must be included in the emails. This collaboration seeks to promote women’s participation in the blockchain industry.
