SHIB project lead Shytoshi Kusama has hinted that the Shiba Inu Games may launch in May.
While addressing questions in the Shiba Türkiye Telegram, the developer briefly touched on several projects on the Shiba Inu Roadmap, including the Shiba Inu Metaverse.
Shiba Inu Games Possible Release Date
In the Shiba Türkiye Telegram on April 21, Shytoshi briefly updated on the Shiba Inu Games’ prospective launch.
He was asked how much longer SHIB holders have to wait for the game projects. In his response, Shytoshi said: “September I believe we will be done.”
This hint coincides with previous comments about the Shiba Inu Games’ release date. PlaySide said they would launch in Q1 FY23. In the Australian financial year, this is between June and September 2022.

Shytoshi previously gave a more speculative date for the Shiba Inu Games’ launch. However, in the SHIB Discord, he said they hoped for a Q4 launch.
The Shiba Inu Games, break up into mobile and blockchain-based titles, are collectible buying and selling card video games that will feature playing cards based totally around the wider Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Alongside his feedback on the games’ launch date, Shytoshi additionally reaffirmed the potential launch date for the Shibarium Layer-2. After mentioning Shibarium would launch “very soon” on the Shiba Discord server, he expanded on this in the Turkish Telegram.
Shytoshi commented: “According to our partners at Xfund, we are weeks or a few months away.”
The Shiba Türkiye community is amongst the most active sub-groups in the Shiba Inu Community. It received interest and praise from the ShibArmy earlier this year after it organized a meeting with a Turkish politician to discuss SHIB.
