Shiba Inu: Marketing Lead Reveals Exciting Plans for Shibarium in 2024

Shiba Inu

The Shiba Inu team continues its momentum, with more developments on the horizon despite this year’s significant achievements.

Shiba Inu’s Marketing Lead, Lucie, has recently unveiled upcoming plans for the ecosystem, anticipating their realisation in the coming year.

Anticipated Developments for Shiba Inu

Lucie, Shiba Inu’s Marketing Lead, recently shared forthcoming plans for the Shibarium network on her X (formerly Twitter) platform. The Shiba Inu community can look forward to various offerings in the coming year.

These include play-to-earn (P2E) games, Shibahub, and Sheboshis. Lucie hinted at the ongoing development of the Shib Metaverse, suggesting a reveal is imminent.

Shiba Inu’s native decentralised exchange (DEX), ShibaSwap, is slated for a transition from the Ethereum network to Shibarium. While this move was initially delayed, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, emphasised prioritising existing layer-2 network projects before focusing on ShibaSwap 2.0.

Lucie refrained from specifying a timeline for these initiatives, emphasising a commitment to thorough development. She noted

“When it’s all ready, development never ends.”

She highlighted the importance of sustained growth in the crypto space over temporary success for a robust and secure structure.

Empowering the SHIB Community

Lucie emphasises the role of the Shiba Inu community in the development of Shibarium. She encourages community members to actively contribute by paying attention to the layer-2 network. Lucie suggests one effective way to do this is by incorporating Shibarium hashtags into all their posts.

Expressing confidence in Shibarium’s growth, Lucie envisions the platform onboarding new users with an ambitious goal of reaching a billion people. She asserts her unwavering commitment, alongside the team, in positioning Shibarium among the top five blockchain networks.

The surge in network activity indicates promising prospects for Shibarium’s ascent in the blockchain ranks. The network witnessed a substantial increase in December, with total transactions soaring from approximately 20 million to over 207 million.

Shibarium has consistently processed over 5 million transactions daily during this period. This upward trajectory is likely to persist, potentially exerting a positive influence on the price of SHIB.
