The Shiba Inu team is inviting developers to build on their prominent Layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium. Yesterday, Shibarium’s official X handle announced that developers can now start using the Shiba Inu Developer Portal, known as ShibDev.
ShibDev provides a suite of essential tools designed to simplify the development process on Shibarium. These tools include node access, API management, faucet, and on-chain data, among others. The platform aims to make the development journey smoother and more accessible for all developers.
Marketing Specialist Encourages Use
In a follow-up tweet, Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist, Lucie, encouraged developers to take full advantage of this comprehensive toolset. She highlighted that ShibDev is suitable for developers at all experience levels, from those new to decentralized application (dApp) creation to those working on more complex projects.

The Shiba Inu team officially launched ShibDev to support developers in building and integrating applications on the Shibarium network. Currently, Shibarium has processed a total of 418,129,632 transactions, with a daily transaction count of 5,210. This figure marks an 81.83% decrease from the 28,680 daily transactions recorded on August 20.
With the ShibDev tools simplifying dApp creation, Shibarium is likely to experience increased adoption. Consequently, this should lead to a significant rise in transaction counts and overall network activity.
