Kaal Dhairya, a lead developer for Shiba Inu, expressed confidence in the project’s sustainability and revealed plans to pass its ecosystem tokens to future generations. Dhairya made these remarks in response to a question posed by Rand Hindi, CEO of Zama, an open-source cryptography company.
Long-Term Crypto Predictions Spark Discussion
In a recent tweet, Hindi asked followers to identify crypto assets they believe will remain relevant over the next 20 years and be valuable enough to pass on to their children. While Hindi plans to give his children Bitcoin on their 18th birthdays, emphasizing its long-term viability,
Dhairya offered a unique perspective regarding Shiba Inu’s future. Dhairya used a “Super BLT sandwich” metaphor to describe Shiba Inu’s ecosystem tokens—SHIB, LEASH, BONE, and TREAT.

He suggested that these tokens represent ingredients in a sandwich the Shiba Inu team plans to hand over to the next generation. This analogy highlights his belief that the project and its tokens are designed for longevity and relevance.
Utility and Functionality of Shiba Inu Tokens
Each Shiba Inu token serves a specific purpose. SHIB acts as both a medium of exchange and a store of value. BONE functions as the governance token for ShibaSwap and recently became the official gas fee token for Shibarium. LEASH offers exclusivity, providing community incentives like liquidity rewards and NFT minting.

TREAT, set to launch soon, will become the ecosystem’s reward token. The Shiba Inu team remains focused on ensuring the project’s long-term success by developing various utility projects, including ventures in gaming and the metaverse.
All four tokens will play key roles in the upcoming Doggy DAO, with SHIB governing the community, LEASH offering exclusivity, BONE powering technology, and TREAT funding community initiatives.
