Shiba Inu has reportedly burnt nothing less than 1,279,839,897 (1.27B) SHIB tokens within the last seven days, and 161 million of that total amount was burnt within the last 24 hours.
This event was reported by Shibburn.com, revealing that 84 transactions were made towards the dead wallet in the last week. And this has removed a total of 1.27B SHIB tokens from circulation forever.

Travis Johnson’s SHIB burn games became the highest burner of the week after removing 328.08M SHIb tokens with $8,490 from circulation to the dead wallet through a single transaction.
Since November 2021, the project has generated $45,912 in revenue through apps, which was used to burn a whopping 1,698,186,364 (1.69B) SHIB, according to data provided by the program’s official website.

ETH SHIBA took the second position as the leading SHIB tokens burner of the week. ETH SHIBA, a newly emerged token, organized the FLASH BURN EVENT on Tuesday, 12th April 2022, which took out 300.12M tokens from circulation forever via a single large transaction. Through its weekly burn event last Monday, 1CENT burned a total of 145.68M SHIB tokens through a single large transaction to the ed wallet.
The 1CENT has burned 1,311,802,045 (1.31B) SHIB from circulation in the past month.
Despite their huge contribution to reducing the total SHIB in circulation, note that ETH SHIBA and 1CENT have no official ties to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Past 24 Hour Burn
Apart from the various weekly burns, reports have it that the community-led burning initiatives have also sent 161M SHIBA tokens to dead wallets through five separate transactions in the past 24 hours.
The single largest burn transaction included 158M coins.
Total Remaining Supply In Circulation
According to data published by Shibburn.com, nothing less than 410.31T SHIB tokens has been burned from a total initial supply of 1Q tokens. Also, over 38B SHIB tokens have been staked on ShibaSwap by holders.
Therefore, the total supply in circulation now is 551,486,153,726,040 (551.48T) SHIB tokens.
Shiba Inu currently sells at $0.00002423 with a trading volume of $589,711,230 ($589M) after going down over 6% over the past 24 hours.
