Shibburn.com reports that during the past 24 hours, a huge spike of 21712.21% has occurred in the rate at which SHIB coins are being removed from circulation. The burn rate spiked significantly on January 26th because only 100,000 Shib were burnt.

An unidentified wallet carried out the largest Shiba Inu burn event. In a single transaction, this wallet destroyed 17,597,260 (17.59M) SHIB that it had acquired from one of the wallets linked to the Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, known as “Crypto.com 2.” According to Etherscan.io, the transaction occurred on January 26, 2023, at precisely 8:22:35 PM +UTC.

However, among the top 2000 biggest ETH holders, commonly called “whales,” Shiba Inu has emerged as the most significant crypto holding. Currently, the combined value of the SHIB tokens held by these whales is $589,522,635.
