Shiba Inu expands its presence in Europe through a new collaboration between Binance Pay and Lyzi. Over 440 merchants in France now accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) and various cryptocurrencies for everyday payments.

In a press release, Binance announced this significant partnership and highlighted the milestone on its official Twitter account.

According to the press release, Binance Pay users in France and Europe now have the option to pay with SHIB and other cryptocurrencies at any merchant connected to the Lyzi payment network. Lyzi boasts a network of over 440 merchants in Europe, with more than 330 spread across the continent.

The notable aspect of this collaboration is the wide variety of retail sectors covered by these merchants, ranging from pharmacies and electronics stores to bakeries and grocery stores. This diverse range of merchants enables Binance Pay users to utilize crypto for their everyday purchases.

All the merchants within the Lyzi network are accessible through the Lyzi payment app, which includes a map feature to assist users in locating nearby merchants. The merchant list continues to expand, and the map is regularly updated as new merchants join the network.

How to Pay with SHIB at a Lyzi Merchant

To make a payment with Shiba Inu (SHIB) to any nearby Lyzi merchant, you can follow these simple steps:

1. Download and install the official Lyzi app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Be cautious not to download from unofficial sources.

2. If you don’t have a Lyzi account already, create one within the app. Then, link your Binance account to your Lyzi account.

3. Utilize the map feature within the Lyzi app to locate the nearest merchant that offers the goods or services you require at any given time.

4. Once you’ve chosen a merchant, they will generate a QR code for your payment. The code will display the price in EUR. Use your Lyzi app to scan the QR code.

5. After scanning the code, the Lyzi app will guide you to your Binance app. Select Shiba Inu as the payment currency and confirm the transaction.

By following these steps, you can conveniently make payments with Shiba Inu to any Lyzi merchant in your vicinity.

More Visibility for Shiba Inu

This collaboration between Binance Pay and Lyzi is a significant step forward for Shiba Inu, as it expands the utility of the cryptocurrency. With an increasing number of merchants accepting Shiba Inu as a form of payment for goods and services, the visibility and accessibility of the asset are enhanced. Lyzi’s inclusion of a cashback feature for purchases adds to the appeal of using Shiba Inu for transactions.

This partnership is the latest in a series of alliances established by Binance Pay to facilitate Shiba Inu payments across numerous merchants. In April, Binance partnered with CoinGate, enabling SHIB to be accepted by over 200 merchants globally. Throughout this year, Binance Pay has also collaborated with Ingenico, Citypay, and Bin Faqeeh, providing opportunities for hundreds of merchants to accept Shiba Inu as a payment option.

At press time, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00000792 with a 0.6% 24-hour increase in price.
