Shiba Inu Admin Exposes PawSwap’s Role in Shibarium Attacks and Impersonation

Shiba Unlocking SHIB Potential: BitPay Enables Higher Limits and Diverse Payment Methods

According to a recent message shared on Discord by Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous admin “DaVinci,” PawSwap has been identified as the entity behind the funding of attacks on Shibarium, the L2 blockchain of SHIB. DaVinci referred to PawSwap as “scamswap” or “pawsh*t” to emphasize their disapproval of the entity’s actions.

DaVinci claims that PawSwap managed to gain entry into the Shiba Inu community by posing as PawZone, a project that he believes to be genuine. It is worth noting that both projects utilize the ticker symbol PAW for their native tokens.

According to the Shiba Inu Discord admin, the purpose behind the impersonation was to facilitate PawSwap’s ability to launch attacks on Shibarium and spread harmful misinformation about the L2 project.

DaVinci also asserted that while PawZone is a legitimate project, PawSwap is considered a scam. It is important to note that this statement reflects DaVinci’s personal opinion.

The revelation prompted responses from members of the Shiba Inu community, with many expressing their endorsement and support for PawZone.
