RippleX, Ripple’s development arm, has announced an upcoming event for XRP holders called “XRP Community Night.”
The event will be held on October 17 at the Miami Beach Edition Hotel. RippleX’s tweet encourages attendees to connect with other XRP holders, builders, and industry experts. The night will highlight XRPL projects and their use of XRP. Attendees will also enjoy food, drinks, exclusive merchandise, bowling, and surprise musical performances.

Earlier this week, RippleX promoted its XRPL Grants via a newly created AI Fund. The goal is to support AI-driven projects financially. Details will be shared during a Zoom session on October 2.

Ripple Mints 2.95 Million RLUSD in Two Days
Ripple has been actively minting RLUSD stablecoins, issuing 2.95 million RLUSD in the past two days. Data from the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker on the X platform shows that Ripple began minting RLUSD batches of over 100,000 coins on October 1. The largest batch minted was 1,350,000 RLUSD.

RLUSD is pegged 1:1 with the U.S. dollar and will be backed by dollar deposits and government treasuries. Ripple recently warned that RLUSD is in private beta and unavailable to users yet. They also advised the community to stay alert for scams.

Reports also surfaced about Ripple’s plans to launch RLUSD on the Ethereum chain. The XRP community expressed frustration over RLUSD’s limited functionality on XRPL.
