Paying With Shiba Inu is Now Possible on Wix

Shiba Inu will become even more useful as a payment options thanks to a new agreement with Lithuania-based cryptocurrency payment processor CoinGate.

According to a story from The Paypers published yesterday, CoinGate has teamed with major SaaS provider Wix to let merchants accept SHIB payments.

Notably, Wix merchants in Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain will be able to connect CoinGate’s payment option to their online stores. Shiba Inu can be used as a form of payment by Wix merchants after the necessary setup is complete.

Shiba Inu’s Popularity to Skyrocket

Over a year has passed since CoinGate added Shiba Inu to its payment system. Over 500 CoinGate merchants were given the ability to receive the cryptocurrency asset from customers in exchange for their goods thanks to the integration of SHIB.

Shiba Inu was ranked as the 12th most used payment method through CoinGate’s payment gateway in just a year, according to a November report. More businesses now accept Shiba Inu because CoinGate collaborated with Wix, which has increased the currency’s appeal due to its canine theme.

Other Services Offered by CoinGate

CoinGate supports more than 70 cryptocurrencies in addition to Shiba Inu, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).

Due to cooperation between CoinGate and Wix, enterprises can withdraw and trade all of the cryptocurrencies they have accumulated in one currency, including USD, EUR, GBP, and BTC. CoinGate provides other business tools, such as a permission-based account management system, an order tracking system, and a refund system.

“CoinGate is focused on allowing people to participate in global economies, whether they own a bank account or use credit cards while enabling merchants to serve them conveniently. CoinGate officials expressed their hope that the partnership will encourage more merchants to take advantage of cryptocurrency markets,” an excerpt of the report noted.

However, Shiba Inu payments have recently seen an increase in usage. With BitPay and Binance Pay backing SHIB, users can purchase items using this cryptocurrency with a canine theme.
