Over 7 Million Merchants Can Accept Cardano Using ADA Pay’s New Plug-in

Cardano (ADA) can now be used as a payment option in over 7 million businesses via ADA pay’s new plug-in. In a tweet, COTI, a blockchain platform, made this announcement.

COTI created the new plug-in as part of a new Catalyst project. In addition, the ADA Pay plugin was developed on Odoo (On-Demand Open Object) and focused on midsize merchants and businesses. Odoo consists of enterprises ranging from small-scale startups to even large ones.

The ADA Pay gateway is a tool to bring Cardano (ADA) to the masses. With the plugin, merchants can accept ADA payments with instant settlement. Moreover, COTI had previously shared another ADA play plugin designed to accept ADA payments for eight different platforms, including WordPress and WooCommerce.

This new development will allow users to pay in ADA and improve cryptocurrency’s adoption rate worldwide. Medium-scale businesses accepting ADA will mark a significant milestone for the crypto asset in its wider global adoption.

Cardano Gets Whales’ Attention

WhaleStats noted that the BSC whales seem to be interested in ADA. Cardano regained its position in the top ten purchased tokens among the 4,000 most giant BSC whales in the last 24 hours.

ADA also holds the 6th position in the top 10 purchased tokens list among the first 100 BSC whales. It also falls under the top 10 small-cap holdings among the most prominent 100 BSC whales.

The increasing interest is attributed to the team’s upcoming developments. With the release of the Vasil hard fork nearing, Cardano is grabbing attention.

Recently, the team of developers have been working on many blockchain upgrades. Several of these behind-the-scenes modifications have been discussed lately by Duncan Coutts. He claimed that several upcoming initiatives will transform Cardano and will have a significant influence on its community.
