The Forbes tech article called attention to Shiba Inu.
A recent tech piece from the US business magazine Forbes featured Shiba Inu.
The well-known dog-themed initiative won praise for launching the WAGMI Temple Hub at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) music and film festival in Austin, Texas.
The article was written by Charlie Fink, a former tech executive who covers AI, XR, and The Metaverse for Forbes.
Charlie’s Piece on Shiba Inu
The experience of the tech journalist at SXSW and the FOMO that results from being both present and absent were both detailed in the piece.
He contends that it is challenging to attend every event at the festival. Therefore attendees should rely on serendipity and recognize that FOMO will always surface.
The debut of the Shiba Inu Metaverse project was one of the activities at this year’s festival.
According to him:
“ The Shiba Inu Metaverse is the most highly anticipated project on Shibarium, the layer 2 technology from Shiba Inu, which saw its official beta launch last week.
At the festival, the developers debuted a brief look at what the Unreal Engine 5-powered virtual world looks like.
One demo was an open world, and the other was a group meditation session in the WAGMI (“We’re All Going to Make It.”) Temple, the first of 11 hubs in the SHIB metaverse.”

SHIB’s Recent Significant Growth
The Forbes mention is evidence of Shiba Inu’s rising popularity as it moves closer to widespread adoption.
Shiba Inu’s Metaverse Adviser, Marcie Jastrow, brought notice to the article. The lead developer for Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, also emphasized the progress.
The Shiba Inu Metaverse was first mentioned in a Flink story last year. It also noted that Marcie Jastrow and Sherri Cuono, a futurist and technology advisor for Shiba Inu, will lead its development.
