Ether (ETH) has crossed $500 billion in capitalization for the first time in its history. It now overtakes the payments giant Visa, with a new price record above $4,300.

As data from 8marketcap shows, Ether (ETH) currently has a capitalization of $496.9 billion, compared to Visa’s $496.1 billion. Moreover, the market cap of the second largest cryptocurrency has just crossed the threshold of 500 billion dollars early this morning.
The cryptocurrency of the Ethereum project now also exceeds JPMorgan Chase ($479.9 billion) as well as Samsung ($479.8 billion). It is gradually approaching Tesla, which is located three places higher and whose share has a capitalization of $594.5 billion:
ETH price continues to climb
The price of ETH continues to soar: it crossed a new symbolic threshold this morning, at more than 4,300 dollars. This was possible thanks to a sustained increase over 24 hours, which allowed ETH to grab + 15%:

The other top 5 altcoins are also showing good progress, with records in recent days for Binance Coin (BNB) as well as Dogecoin (DOGE). As a result, Bitcoin’s dominance rate (BTC), i.e. its share of total cryptocurrency capitalization, has dropped significantly to 44% this morning:

Ether prices soar as optimistic forecasts mount , with a threshold of $10,000 that has become the focus of many commentators. ETH surpassed $4,000 last Monday , and $ 3,000 a week before, so its progress has been particularly rapid.
