Ripple, a leading blockchain enterprise, has disclosed the names of the third set of individuals and companies to receive funding from its $250 million Creator Fund. In other words, Ripple has announced the third group of beneficiaries who will receive support from its Creator Fund, which is worth $250 million.

Yesterday, an announcement revealed that the recipients of the most recent round of Ripple’s Creator Fund are focused on combining digital and physical experiences in a way that provides practical benefits in the real world. Exceptionally, the winners are committed to merging virtual and tangible encounters in ways that have tangible, real-life uses.

Among the recipients of Ripple’s third wave of funding are various individuals and organizations, including Hot Import Nights, which sells virtual event tickets based on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Adrian Balastegui, a digital artist who specializes in creating canvases, and Emporio Records, an independent record label that uses NFTs.

Additionally, several digital artists, including Mike Sotirakos, Natacha Elnat, TraumAnesia, and Robert Chew, have also been selected to receive support from the Creator Fund’s third round.

The creator of TraumAmnesia, Romain Lohezic, commented on the development.

He noted:

“The arrival of NFTs is a total game changer for creators. The speed of transfer, carbon neutrality, and simplicity of the XRPL are major pluses. As an artist, I’m very happy to participate in the development of this use case at scale.”

Ripple’s $250M Creator Fund

Ripple has announced the launch of its program’s third wave, which focuses on creators who develop physical and digital NFTs. However, the company is also welcoming applications from creators working on other projects. The announcement comes four months after Ripple began accepting applications for the program.

Ripple has created the Creator Fund with $250 million, which is aimed at providing support for developing NFT projects on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). However, Ripple has stated that the fund offers financial and technical assistance to NFT creators to help them launch their projects on the XRP Ledger.

Although Ethereum is currently the leading blockchain for NFTs, Ripple aims to draw more NFT creators to the XRP Ledger by offering the Creator Fund. Since the program began, Ripple has received over 5,000 applications from NFT creators, with well-known names like Ethernal Labs and xPunks among them. In March 2022, Ripple announced the first group of recipients of the fund.

Furthermore, Ripple has revealed that hundreds of projects have taken advantage of the low-cost, instant settlement, and environmentally friendly features of the XRPL mainnet since the launch of the XLS-20 amendment.
