Shibarium Mainnet Announcement Expected In Toronto
The exact date for the public launch of Shibarium’s mainnet has not yet been announced. However, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of SHIB, mentioned that the much-anticipated launch is set to occur during ETH Toronto.
The Blockchain Futurist Conference is slated to take place on August 15 – 16 in Toronto. According to a report from Fxcryptonews, Kusama extended an invitation to Elon Musk to attend the conference. This invitation followed Musk’s recent direct mention of Shiba Inu on Twitter after a two-year gap.
In other developments, the beta testnet for the layer-2 scaling solution codenamed Puppynet, went live in January. It has seen extensive activity from a multitude of wallets. As of the last report, exactly 17,063,400 wallets have interacted with the Shibarium beta testnet, bringing the total transactions on the network to 34,269,221.
