Christmas is approaching and Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has taken on the Christmas spirit. On Monday, the founder broadcast another surprise AMA on YouTube, in which he answered questions from the community. As usual, Hoskinson answered some questions from community members about the Cardano project.
What the founder of Cardano would like for Christmas
During the AMA, Hoskinson briefly introduced the Christmas gifts he wanted; this is not a list of Christmas gifts people typically want. Instead, Hoskinson decided to resolve an urgent problem in the crypto space, namely the disagreement among investors on various projects.
Cardano is one of the most successful projects in FUD lately. The project has been swayed by hideous comments on social media, particularly since the two-month decline of its ADA token. To that end, Hoskinson hopes everyone in the crypto industry will start getting along.
The founder stated that for Christmas, he would like everyone to find their way around the crypto industry. He also believes that people can be so far apart when people are so close in philosophy and opinions and sometimes also in technology, which is very unusual for him.
Promote a Better System for Crypto Investors
Hoskinson also talked about a system that has pitted investors against each other for years. He said that this point is more important in the area of crypto, as other industries do not see hatred for one another the way the crypto industry does.
“You don’t see this in other industries,” Hoskinson said. “You don’t see in physics or biology, or cellphone manufacturing, or whatever, pick an industry, the amount of tribalism, hate, and vitriol that our industry has for each other.”
The founder further stated that there is no way to fight the real enemy as long as people continue to hate each other, he believes this is a legacy system. He said the system has and will continue to suppress 3 billion people. The founder also admitted that this is not easy as there will always be people trying to divide others in the room.
Hoskinson stated that there will be books and podcasts that say things that divide people. Even on social media, most of the spiciness is leaked. However, everyone in the industry should take a stand and stop hating.
“This has to stop, and the only way to stop it is for us to get a better and fairer system. And we can only do that by working together. So we’ll see if it will be completed in 2022.”
