Cardano Defies Market Slump, Becomes Only Top Asset in Green with Rally to $1

Cardano Drops 6.4% in 24 Hours as ADA Slips Toward $0.35 Support

While Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP retreated yesterday, Cardano took a different path. The 10th-largest cryptocurrency by market cap surged to an intraday high of $1.02 before a slight pullback. This 5% price increase made ADA the only asset in the top 50 to post gains over the last 24 hours.

Surge Sparks Market Attention

The bullish move put Cardano in the spotlight, attracting a spike in search interest. TapTools reported that ADA ranked first in CoinMarketCap’s trending coins list before slipping to second place as Bitcoin overtook the top spot.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson joined the celebrations. In a tweet, he remarked, “Cardano has its days,” alongside a GIF of actor Pedro Pascal smiling in relief. Hoskinson often faces criticism during ADA’s underperformance, despite stressing he has no control over its price. Still, he welcomed yesterday’s rally with clear satisfaction.

Analysts See More Upside

Market analyst Javon Marks suggested the rally has more room to run. He noted ADA has gained over 82% from June’s $0.51 low, continuing a trend that began in 2023. This trend involves strong rallies after breakouts from descending channels.

Marks predicted ADA’s minimum target for this breakout is $1.20. His chart also hinted at a possible surge to $2.91, a 206% jump from current levels. Other analysts share similar optimism. Crypto Deezy pointed to a golden cross on the daily chart, forecasting a climb to $3 based on historical trends.

Dan Gambardello echoed this $3 target, aligning with the bullish sentiment surrounding ADA’s current setup. Cardano’s latest performance shows its resilience amid broader market weakness. With technical signals pointing higher and analysts eyeing multi-dollar targets, ADA could remain a standout player in the coming weeks.
