While the BabyDoge community still celebrates the recent project development, including the latest token burn, the canine-themed meme coin has dropped another bombshell on its official Twitter account. 

BabyDoge exploring new Blockchain options 

In the latest announcement, BabyDoge hints that it will be expanding into other blockchains like Polygon or Cronos Chain.

The popular meme coin was only supported by the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), but the team is now set to expand and explore more opportunities across other blockchains. 

This idea seems to be a welcome development, as it has drawn a lot of positive responses from the BabyDoge community. 

BabyDoge continues on a good run

With over 1.49 million holders, BabyDoge tops the chart for all the popular dog-themed meme coins. And the crypto project continues to make waves in the crypto community. The coins recently also crossed over 1.1 million followers on Twitter, only behind Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, among the canine-themed cryptocurrencies. 

If the recent expansion happens, this could be a game-changer for the BabyDoge project and its community, especially due to Polygon’s arbitrary message passing capability, allowing it to communicate both with the Ethereum main chain and with one another. It also encourages new use cases, such as interoperable dApps and value transfer between platforms.

However, fingers remain crossed in anticipation of when this expansion will be initiated and how it will affect the project.
