According to an announcement on October 26, the fast and affordable Algorand blockchain organized a hackathon for a total of $1,000,000 and invited developers to create game DApps during the event. Algorand hopes to turn the “Bring Your A Game hackathon” into an event for developers to shape the future of games.

They created four main categories for this hackathon, each with a price of $20,000 (paid in ALGO tokens): game development tools, NFT-based games, metaverse environment, and play-2-earn games. In addition, game studios and independent game developers can compete for one of four prizes valued at $250,000. There will be quality standards as the team evaluates submissions based on their features, game experience, documentation, ease of use and complexity.
